Cruiseships - Choose Your Cruise Ship

There is more to choosing a cruise than simply picking a destination. You could say that you wanted to cruise the Eastern Caribbean and that would be great but which cruise line would you like to take you there and more importantly, which ship would you like to take you there? Cruiseships are as diverse as the destinations that they go to, so here is a quick guide to help you make your choice.

It would be rather easy to choose a cruise ship if they all had the same on deck activities, but that isn't the case at all. Some of the ships have multiple pools and some only have one or two. I've been on cruise ships with climbing rock walls, huge screen TVs, Spas and hot tubs, and even a ship where you could surf the waves right in the pool. So to say that all cruiseships are created equal would wrong, choosing a cruise would mean that you should choose a ship that has onboard activities that are what you enjoy doing.

There is also the food that is on a ship. Now I've been on many cruise ships and I've never had one that I didn't enjoy the food. They have dozens of chefs on call all the time preparing some great meals for you, and the food never seems to stop. But that isn't the only thing you need to decide about eating on your cruise. Take the time to decide what kind of dinner hours they keep. Some have relaxed dinner times while others make you choose a particular seating. This can make it difficult because you need to plan all your other activities around it.

So the next time you decide to go on a cruise just remember that there is more to cruising than just enjoying the ocean and the islands. There is also a whole slew of onboard cruise activities that are waiting for you. Take advantage of them and you will find that you enjoy the cruise ship as much as the cruise itself.
